specific kind of wines are outstanding. In 2011, the temperatures in Douro region were very mild and the rain only fell in small doses which elevated the water reservoirs, after a long and rainy winter. In a nutshell, the weather was perfect for the birth of a vintage wine.
It will take years for vintage wines to become available. But you can fin on the market other harvests like 1985 or 1991, 1994, so you can enjoy them and you won't regret to have a taste from the vintage collection.
