Wine lovers: Douro is Europe's best river cruise destination!

The English newspaper Huffington Post put together a top ten of best river cruises destinations of 2013, in Europe and Douro (without any surprises) was elected the number one route.

Douro is a wine lovers paradise, it combines great history with amazing landscapes of old vineyards in the heart of wineland. The article encourage the wine lovers and everybody with a thing for historic tales to take a cruise down the river Douro, passing trough the beautiful city of Porto situated near the banks, where you can see the remains of an old dock and a famous yet very old bridge.

 If you actually step of the boat, you can take a trip trough one of the Port wine cellars, enjoy as glass of Port's exquisite wine and watch from one of wine bars the incredible sunset that our climate allows.
